Who am I? Get to know me

Hi, I’m Mayda. And if you’re here, chances are—you’re carrying something heavy.

Maybe it’s pain that’s been with you for weeks… or years.

Maybe it’s a constant stiffness, a strange tightness, or that nagging discomfort no one seems to understand.

Or maybe—it’s something harder to put into words. That quiet frustration of feeling disconnected from your own body. Like it’s no longer listening to you… and no one else is either.

You’ve probably been told to “just give it time” or “learn to live with it.”

But deep down, you know something’s not right.

And more than anything—you just want answers that make sense.

Let’s find them. Together..!

Not just as a physiotherapist, but as someone who’s sat with hundreds of people who were frustrated, scared, and out of options.

I’ve worked in hospitals, rehab centers, community halls—sometimes even in people’s living rooms. I’ve seen what works, and what people are really looking for. And it’s not just another exercise sheet.

It’s answers.

It’s hope.

It’s a human connection.

That’s why I built this space—not to talk at you with medical jargon, but to sit with you. To share real conversations, real stories (anonymised but heartfelt), and practical ways you can take care of your body without fear or confusion.

Because I’ve learned something important in these past six years:

Pain doesn’t always need fixing—it needs understanding.

And recovery doesn’t always start in a clinic. Sometimes, it starts right here, with someone saying,

“Hey, I hear you. Let’s figure this out.”

So whether you’re here to learn, to get help, or to simply feel less alone—Welcome.

This is a place for people who want to move better, feel better, and take back control—with guidance that’s honest, down-to-earth, and made just for you.

And if you ever want to reach out, I’m just one message away.

With warmth,

Mayda Asif

Physiotherapist, educator, and someone who still tears up when a patient finally sleeps pain-free.
